The quarter of a mile long continental Wagons-Lits Orient Express train awaits you at Venice Santa Lucia Station with its gleaming, royal blue paintwork topped by snow-white roofs, and lined with brass lettering. Emerald Waterways offer comfort and innovation on-board their new state-of-the-art Star-Ships.

Emerald Waterways have been extremely successful in introducing a more affordable modern 4 star plus experience aimed not only at the ‘grey’ market but younger guests including families. The first 2 ships entered service in 2014, two more in 2015 and a further four in 2017.
Their modern fleet includes a unique dual-purpose area at the aft of the ship that transforms from an indoor, heated pool with retractable roof during the day, to a cinema at night. A second impressive state-of-the-art feature is the balcony cabins that transform into conservatories at the touch of a button.
You can enjoy five-course a la carte dining in the Reflections Restaurant as well as al fresco light bites in The Terrace which includes an open-air dining space (for breakfast and lunch only).
Coffee, tea and water, as well as wine, spirits and beer with lunch and dinner are included as well as free Wi-Fi connection.

Shore excursions and transfers are included, although in-depth or unusual shore excursions are surcharged. The tall sleek Star Clippers are a recreation of the elegant 19th century clipper ships, offering guests the romance of a tall ship without sacrificing comfort. There is extensive deck space for sunbathing, plunge pools, intimate piano lounge, relaxed open seating dining and complimentary water sports equipment. Star Clippers often call at ports out of reach to larger ships. It is a relaxing, informal type of cruise, offering a sense of adventure but still providing everything a guest might need.
